What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic health care can be best described by the American Chiropractic Association. Please click the ACA image to the right for a link to a more detailed description about our Westfield, NJ Chiropractor.
What type of chiropractic healthcare is offered at Rosati Family Chiropractic?
A combination of chiropractic techniques and soft tissue techniques are utilized at Rosati Family Chiropractic, depending on the patients area of complaint and tolerance to pain.  The list below contains some of the more common chiropractic adjustments offered here at our office.

• Chiropractic Manipulative Technique - Diversified
CMT-D is a hands on chiropractic technique that utilizes high velocity, low amplitude force through a dysfunctional joint to restore normal function. This type of joint manipulation is most helpful in restoring function to spinal and extremity joints and is considered the standard in chiropractic manipulation.

• Flexion Distraction Technique
Fexion Distraction Technique is a more conservative chiropractic adjustment using a specialized chiropractic table that can be effective in relieving pressure caused by a herniated disc, stenosis, spasm, facet syndrome, and joint dysfunction of the Sacro-Iliac, Thoracic and Lumbar spine among other issues.

• Drop Table Technique
Drop Table Technique utilizes a chiropractic table equipped with a gravity assisted drop piece. This technique can also be considered conservative and can be effective in the treatment of pelvic, sacro-iliac, lumbo-sacral and extremity joint dysfunction among other complaints.
